Interesting Statistic #2 Unicode (specifically UTF-8) usage on the internet has recently overtaken both ASCII and the European encodings (ISO-8859/Windows 1252) as the most widely used character encoding being used throughout the internet. This is good news for the web. (via Daring Fireball)
